What we collect
When you create an account we collect your name, email address and, if you provide one, a phone number and profile photo. If you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google.
When you enrol in a course we record the enrolment, your progress, your quiz attempts, your assignment submissions, and the grades and feedback your trainer gives you.
When you take part in a live session, a course discussion or a chat, we store the messages and participation records needed to run those features.
Why we use it
To run your account, deliver the courses you enrol in, let your trainer grade your work, and issue certificates.
To send the emails the service depends on, such as verifying your address, resetting your password, and notifying you about sessions.
To keep the platform secure and to investigate misuse.
If your employer enrolled you
When an organisation enrols you, the person who manages that organisation can see your enrolments, your progress, your completion status and your certificates for the courses they assigned.
They cannot see your private chats, and they cannot see courses you enrolled in yourself outside the organisation.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. Records that prove a certificate was earned are kept longer, so the certificate stays verifiable.
You can ask us to delete your account by writing to support@trainistan.com.
Your choices
You can update your name, phone number and photo from your profile at any time.
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to support@trainistan.com and we will respond.
